Let’s talk data
I’m the Chief Market Engagement Officer at a research and predictive technology company called IMPACTS Research & Development. IMPACTS provides the data on this site, and the company has given me express permission to share it.
IMPACTS is 85 people strong, with the bulk of our talent on the back-end – specializing in data collection, analysis, and computer technologies. We work primarily with government and entertainment entities through word-of-mouth connections. (As a rule, we do not respond to RFPs.) Visitor-serving work serves largely as our company’s R&D for understanding audiences and diving into concepts related to behavioral economics. IMPACTS’s primary expertise is developing intelligence to predict discretionary consumer behaviors – the kind of information that helps organizations understand not only what their constituents are doing, but also why they are doing it.
Current and recent clients utilizing IMPACTS technologies include projects concerning the European Union, Google, Facebook, Monterey Bay Aquarium, The Re-Election Campaign of President Barack Obama, Stanford University, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), U.S. Department of State, Warner Brothers Entertainment, and the Wildlife Conservation Society.
